Week 3 (15th September - 19th September)

Grade 1 students had body check-up today so we did not split class, we will start the class tomorrow. Please remind your child to put the homework in the basket/ box marked I1 in the homeroom classroom, I will pick and mark. For the time being, we can spend some time to have a glimpse of the vocabulary words. I can't wait to see your lovely child tomorrow. 😉😉😉😉😉😉😉😉

We started levelled class today and students followed teachers to the designated classroom for lesson. Even though they are so small, most of them knew which class they are in and responded promptly when the teacher called their names. Bravo!
We covered all the vocabulary words (1-12) today and read aloud the words and sentences together. Phonics short u and long u was introduced and reinforcement will be done in the next few days. We read the story on P.61-63 and the activities on phonics are done.

Today we went through My View p. 55-56 and revised phonics short u and long u sounds. The second lesson we did simple addition of numbers 6, 7, and 8 on p. 12-14 of Math book.
